Where is soundoff located?

soundoff is a small business based in Chicago Illinois and the images on our garments are all applied by hand here in Chicago.

Garments

Where are your products made?

All soundoff artwork is silkscreened by hand or sewn onto our garments in the United States.  soundoff is committed to providing consistent high quality garments, therefore we source our garments from various locations to ensure consistent comfort, quality and sizing. 

How do I know what size I should order?

Each of our products has a size chart available on the product page.  While we strive to provide consistent sizing, please be sure to check the size chart on the product page as different styles of clothing may fit differently.  

Do your products come with a guarantee?

We strive to provide quality garments.  If the quality of your garment does not meet your expectations, please contact us at support@soundoffdesign.com.

How do I care for soundoff products?

Care instructions are included on the soundoff label or refer to the product page for detailed care instructions

How much will soundoff products shrink?

All of our garments are pre-washed, but please follow the care instructions included in the garment and on the product page to minimize any additional shrinkage.

 

Artwork

Where does soundoff get its artwork? 

Our design team develops all artwork and images in house. Our images are original artwork and are protected by copywrite and trademark law. Select images may be based upon or take inspiration from photographs in the public domain and / or photos with copywrite permission for reuse in creative formats.

Can I submit my own ideas for soundoff artwork?

At this time, all soundoff artwork is developed in house. Any unsolicited suggestions, ideas and /or artwork become the property of soundoff.

Can I use soundoff images and photos for other uses?

Photos, images and art work on the site are the property of soundoff.  Users may download, copy or share these for personal use only, but may not modify them in any way.  Additional information may be found in our terms of service or you can email info@soundoffdesign.com with questions.

 

Purchasing

Where can I purchase soundoff products?

soundoff products can only be purchased online through our website (www.soundoffdesign.com), we currently do not sell soundoff products at any retail outlets.

Are there volume discounts available?

No.  From time to time soundoff may extend promotional offers, but we do not offer volume discounts.

Ordering / Shipping

What forms of payment do you accept?

We currently accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, and Diners Club cards.

What does it mean to Pre-order?

Sometimes, soundoff will offer new items that are not yet ready to ship for pre-order.  This gives customers the opportunity to be among the first to receive a new item and to purchase the item at exclusive pre-order discounts.  Pre-orders will begin shipping on the date indicated on the product page.  Depending on the popularity of the item, pre-ordered items may not ship on the first day to all customers.

Why should I pre-order?

soundoff products are screened by hand in small production runs.  As a result, some of our more popular products may be sold out before the product is ready to ship.

How do I know when my pre-order will ship?

The expected shipping date is on the product page, and will also appear on order confirmation email that you will receive when your order is placed.

How do I know my pre-order has shipped?

You will receive an email when your order has shipped which will include the tracking information.

When am I charged for my pre-ordered item?

Your credit card will be charged at the time the order is placed.  

How do I cancel my pre-order?

Prior to the order being sent to our fulfillment center for shipping, you may request to cancel your pre-order by emailing us at support@soundoffdesign.com with your request to cancel. Please include your name, address, email address and order number. If the order has not yet processed, we will try to cancel your order.

If I order multiple items and one is a pre-order item, do they ship together?

Yes, we do not split orders, so your entire order will be held until your pre-order item is ready to ship.  If you need your in-stock item to ship sooner, you may place separate orders.

Can I get a gift card?

Currently soundoff does not provide gift cards, but is looking to add them in the future.  Please check back.

Do you gift wrap?

Sorry, but we currently do not offer gift wrap services.

Can I use two different forms of payment on the same order?

No each order may only use one form of payment.

When will my order ship?

Orders, that do not include pre-order items, placed before 12 midnight (central) Sunday through Thursday will be typically be shipped the next business day (Monday to Friday). Orders placed Friday, Saturday and Sunday, will ship on Monday. Pre-order items will begin shipping on the date noted on the product page and your order confirmation email.

Can I ship an order to multiple addresses?

No, each order may only be shipped to one address.  In order to be eligible for free economy shipping, each individual order to each shipped to an address must be greater than $70.

Can I change an order?

Once orders are placed, they cannot be changed.  If the order has not yet shipped, you may request to cancel the order by emailing support@soundoffdesign.com.  If the order has not yet been sent to our fulfillment center, we will try to cancel the order prior to shipping.  Orders that have been shipped must be returned per our return / exchange policy and a new order placed.  Any shipping fees are non-refundable if the order cannot be canceled before shipment.

Do you ship internationally?

Other than APO/FPO/DPO addresses we currently do not ship internationally.  We are looking to add international shipping options in the near future.  Please check back.

What sales tax does soundoff charge?

Currently soundoff only charges sales tax on orders in Illinois.

 

Returns

How long do I have to return my item?

Return requests must be submitted within 7 days of receiving your item, and shipped back to soundoff within 7 days of a return being authorized and a return label being emailed to you.

What do you mean by returned items must be in new and resalable condition?

We expect that our customers will open our packaging and try on our products and will we happily accept returns of items that have simply been tried on and do not meet your expectations.  However, if an item is returned that has visible indications of wear and tear, including appearing dirty, odorous, damaged, washed or altered in any way we reserve the right not to refund the purchase price nor return the item to the customer.  

Do you charge a restocking fee?

soundoff charges a $7 restocking fee on returns that are not warrantee related.  This fee covers the cost of return shipping and repackaging of our products.  

Do you charge the restocking fee on exchanges or warrantee returns?

No. If your item arrives damaged or is not the correct size, we will exchange it for free.

How do I return my garment?

You must request a return authorization online at www.soundoffdesign.com by following these steps:

  1. Go to www.soundoffdesign.com and sign into your account.  
  2. Once you have signed into your account, click the completed link on the left side of the screen to see your completed orders.
  3. Click the “return item(s)” link on the right side of the screen for the order related to the item you wish to return.
  4. Enter the quantity you wish to return for each item, select a return reason and a return action, and enter any comments to help us process your return or exchange.
  5. When complete, click “submit return request”

 I got the wrong size, how do I exchange my garment?

  1. Go to www.soundoffdesign.com and sign into your account.  
  2. Once you have signed into your account, click the completed link on the left side of the screen to see your completed orders.
  3. Click the “return item(s)” link on the right side of the screen for the order related to the item you wish to return.
  4. Enter the quantity you wish to exchange for each item. Under return reasons, choose item did not fit as expected, and under return actions select exchange for a different size.  Please indicate in the comments section the size ordered and the correct replacement size.  
  5. When complete, click “submit return request”

Once your request is submitted, we will email you with instructions to return your item.  When your return has been received and inspected, we will ship the replacement item to you.

How are returns / exchanges shipped?

All returns / exchanges are shipped standard shipping times in both directions.

If I return an order are the shipping fees refundable?

All shipping fees are non-refundable.

How long does it take to process my return and when do I get my refund?

Once your item is received, it will be inspected and if appropriate a credit issued.  Generally, this is completed within two business days of the item being received at soundoff.  Once a credit is issued, it may take several days for the credit to post to your account depending on the policy of your card issuer.

I got this as a gift, can you send the refund back to me?

No.  All refunds are processed back to the original form of payment.
